Job summary

Best Metals in Fredericton, NB is seeking an energetic bottle sorter to join our team. You will unload and sort bottle products, assist operators, label items, and maintain a safe, clean work area in all weather conditions.

We offer Health, Dental and Vision benefits, RRSP match, profit sharing, and an Employee Assistance Program. This is a full-time, permanent role paying $17.00/hr, with Monday–Friday hours and Saturday morning shifts.

Qualifications

• Bottle sorting experience is an asset.
• Able to lift 50 lbs consistently.
• Full PPE (CSA Steel toes, Gloves, Glasses, safety Vest, Hard Hat)
• Safety driven mindset and clear communication

Responsibilities

• Unload and sort customer bottle products.
• Assist machine operators and staff as needed.
• Label and tag products.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area; uphold safety procedures.
• Load, unload, and move products with basic equipment.
• Report deficiencies to management.
• Other labor duties as necessary

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Help unload and sort customer bottle products
• Keep a professional attitude when assisting customers
• Assist machine operators and other staff as needed.
• Accurately label and tag products
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area
• Upkeeping safety procedures
• Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic equipment
• Ensure deficiencies are noted and reported to management
• Other labor duties as necessary

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience doing bottle sorting is an asset
• Must be able to lift 50lbs consistently
• Full PPE (CSA Steel toes, Gloves, Glasses, safety Vest, Hard Hat)
• Safety driven mindset
• Clear communication skills
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Saturdays from 8am - 12pm

Pay Rate:

Pay Rate is $17.00/hr
