Job summary

Banff Bottle Depot is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Bottle Sorter/Shipper. The role involves sorting recyclable beverage containers, preparing shipments, and assisting with daily depot operations in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

This is a physically active position requiring accuracy and efficiency, with responsibilities including loading/unloading, shipping documentation, and maintaining a clean workspace.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to scheduled shifts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Sort, count and organize recyclable beverage containers accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare, package and organize materials for shipment.
• Load and unload trucks and assist with shipping and receiving.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment when trained and authorized.
• Assist customers with their beverage container returns as required.
• Maintain an organized and efficient work area.
• Complete basic shipping and inventory documentation.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Perform general cleaning and other depot duties as assigned.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• Forklift experience is an asset, but training may beprovided.
