RTX in Oakville, Canada is seeking a skilled Machine Shop Technician - Boring Mill to join our team. You will produce aircraft parts to drawing while operating the boring mill, ensuring tolerances and quality in a fast-paced environment.

You will use G codes for setup, read blueprints, and document all actions in quality logs. This role emphasizes safety, 5S, and continuous improvement within the cell, onsite in Ontario.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of Boring Mill machining experience and/or 5 axis machining.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate boring mill to produce parts to drawings.
• Maintain tolerances; adjust offsets and perform self-inspection.
• Document actions for quality logs and report discrepancies.
• Work from setup sheets, manufacturing sheets and drawings.
• Support continuous improvement and standard work in the cell.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
