Job Description :

As a Bookkeeper / Accounts Payable , you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our company. You will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, contribute to the month-end closing process, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in finance / Accounting.

Responsibilities :

• Processing Daily and Monthly claims Payments
• Daily / Monthly bank reconciliations of all claims accounts
• Monthly float reconciliation
• Preparing weekly / monthly float reports
• Processing accounts payable, including entering invoices and issuing cheques
• Reconciling the accounts payable ledger to ensure all claims payments are properly posted
• Reviewing and processing staff expense reports
• Preparing monthly accruals and prepaid entries
• Preparing various bank, accruals, prepaid, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Collaborating with the Controller to help prepare financial statements

Qualifications :

• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping principles and accounts payable processes
• Experience with Sage 300 accounting software
• College / University Degree or professional training in accounting
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the accounting field
• Effective communication skills in English
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Type : Full-time, Permanent
• Salary : $50,000 to $60,000 per year

• Schedule : Monday to Friday
