Qualifications

Job Description

Kitchen Hub is looking for a new team member to join our growing finance and administration team. We are seeking to add a detail-oriented and motivated bookkeeper who wishes to utilize their bookkeeping experience in a fun and dynamic entrepreneurial company.

As a Kitchen Hub Bookkeeper, you are :

• A self-starter with an ability to work independently
• Able to manage multiple tasks and projects at any given time

• A Greater Toronto Area resident, excited to work with us in our West End office a minimum 3 days a week

What you will do

• Maintain, monitor and reconcile GL accounts, including cash, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accrued liabilities and intercompany transfers
• Oversee the processing and monitoring of Accounts Receivable
• Oversee the processing and monitoring of Accounts Payable
• Respond to partners’ invoicing inquiries
• Prepare monthly payroll and journal entries
• Posting monthly, quarterly and year-end adjusting entries as required
• Assist on other ad-hoc tasks for month-end closing

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years experience in a bookkeeping role within a small to medium-sized business (ideally in high growth)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and Google Suite software
• Proficiency in Xero or QuickBooks, or a similar accounting software
• Experience with Float, Plooto, 7 Shifts, and Rippling are a plus
• Previous experience in real estate, property management or facilities management is an asset
