Velocity Truck Centres is seeking a Body Shop Manager to take full ownership of the operation in Surrey, Canada. You will lead both the business and the people, driving budgets, scheduling, and customer-focused service excellence.

You will build a high-performing team, manage estimates and insurance workflows, and nurture relationships with customers and partners. This role offers a path to significant impact within a growing network and a strong benefit package.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Certification as a Body Shop Technician is required.
• 7+ years of experience in the heavy-duty truck body shop industry.
• Proven leadership of teams in a body shop or service environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive financial performance by developing budgets, analyzing results, and implementing profit-focused strategies.
• Lead daily operations including scheduling, workflow optimization, and resource planning.
• Build and develop a high-performing team by hiring, mentoring, and supporting staff.
• Monitor technician productivity, efficiency, and quality to ensure top-tier workmanship.
• Oversee estimates, invoicing, and insurance claims with accuracy and accountability.
• Strengthen relationships with customers, suppliers, and insurance partners.
• Identify growth opportunities, improve processes, and increase overall shop performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide clear communication and reporting to senior leadership.
