Job summary

AWIN Green Lane Body Shop in Thornhill, ON is seeking a skilled Body Shop Estimator to provide exceptional service to customers throughout the repair process. You will assess vehicle components, apply insurance guidelines, and collaborate with technicians to deliver accurate pricing and timely updates.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in a similar automotive role, strong communication, and a track record of managing multiple repairs with precision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role or automotive position.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage time, meet deadlines and complete all assigned tasks.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Sound understanding of all automotive functionalities.
• Must have experience with Mitchell or Audatex.

Responsibilities

• Assess structural components of a vehicle.
• Adhere to and apply insurance guidelines.
• Work with Body Technicians through the dismantle process.
• Provide accurate pricing and quotes for all vehicles.

Job Purpose

The Body Shop Estimator must have the experience necessary to provide our customers with optimal service.

• Assess structural components of a vehicle
• Adhering to and applying insurance guidelines
• Working with Body Technicians through the dismantle process
• Provide accurate pricing and quotes for all vehicles
• Maintain communication with customers and be available to answer questions throughout the repair process
• Effectively manage multiple repairs simultaneously
• Implement an effective quality check process by inspecting repaired vehicles and ensuring the repair is up to standard.

Compensation Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year total earnings. This role's compensation consists of a base salary and commission plan.
