City of Winnipeg seeks a Body Repairer Apprentice to support the Transit body shop. You will help repair and replace bus body parts, fabricate sheet metal components, and inspect interiors and exteriors under supervision.
Ideal candidates are high school graduates who can enroll in the Body Repairer Apprenticeship within a year, with basic hand tools and a Manitoba Class 5 license. Strong teamwork and safety compliance are essential.

As the Body Repairer Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of the Body Shop/Welding Shop Supervisors and are responsible for assisting in a variety of duties including: performing damage and corrosion repairs to Transit buses and equipment, fabricating vehicle and equipment components and inspecting vehicle interior and exterior fittings and performing repairs as required.
