Job summary

Wye Heritage Marine Resort is seeking a dependable person for the fall shrink-wrapping season. You will help prepare boats for winter storage by building frames and installing shrink wrap with care and attention to detail.

Responsibilities include building and securing frames, installing and heat-shrinking wrap, adding vents and access doors, and working with the team to meet the fall storage schedule. Outdoor work and safety procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with shrink-wrapping boats is preferred.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Comfort with physical tasks and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Build and secure shrink wrap frames for boats.
• Install and heat-shrink wrap on boats of different sizes.
• Add vents and access doors as needed.
• Use tools and heat equipment safely.
• Keep the work area clean and meet fall storage schedule.

• Building and securing shrink wrap frames
• Installing and heat-shrinking wrap on boats of various sizes
• Adding vents and access doors as needed
• Using tools and heat equipment safely
• Keeping the work area clean and working with the team to meet the fall storage schedule

Previous boat shrink-wrapping experience is an asset. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, follows safety procedures, and is comfortable working outdoors in changing weather. The role involves physical work, including climbing ladders and lifting materials.
