Job summary

Prep Academy Tutors in Durham Region is seeking a dedicated Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) or BCBA to oversee behavioural programming for children with ASD and related needs. This role blends behaviour support with educational growth and requires collaboration with ABA tutors and families.

You will develop and supervise individualized intervention plans, provide parent coaching, supervise tutors, and ensure privacy-compliant documentation.

Qualifications

  • Registered as an RBA or BCBA in good standing.
  • Experience with children/adolescents with ASD, ADHD, anxiety, or developmental disabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of ABA principles and interventions.
  • Experience supervising ABA therapists/interventionists.
  • Approved provider of OAP funding.

Responsibilities

About Us

Prep Academy Tutors of Durham is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) or Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) to oversee behavioural programming for children with ASD and other developmental needs, while collaborating closely with ABA and academic tutors.

This role blends behaviour support with educational growth. You will develop and supervise individualized behaviour intervention plans while working alongside tutors and families to ensure students receive consistent, high-quality, integrated support.

Job Description

As a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) or Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), you will:

Support skill development in areas such as executive functioning, self-regulation, social skills, and academic readiness.

Collaborate with tutors, parents, educators, and other professionals to ensure cohesive and consistent strategies.

Provide supervision and guidance to tutors implementing ABA-based strategies within academic sessions.

Provide parent coaching and consultation to promote consistency at home.

Maintain accurate documentation in alignment with professional and privacy standards.

Ensure programming aligns with ethical guidelines and evidence-based best practices.

Work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

We are looking for Registered Behaviour Analysts (RBAs) or Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBAs) who are:

Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) or Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) in good standing.

Experienced working with children and adolescents with ASD, ADHD, anxiety, and/or developmental disabilities.

Strong understanding of ABA principles and behavioural intervention strategies.

Experienced collaborating and supervising ABA therapists/interventionists.
