Forum Energy Technologies in Leduc, AB is seeking a Blade Machine Operator to set up and run CNC grinding equipment for blade sharpening, maintain blade inventories, and perform quality checks. The role requires adherence to Health, Safety and Environment policies and accurate documentation.
Ideal candidates will have basic math skills, the ability to work independently or in a team, and prior experience with manufacturing and CNC machinery. Overtime shifts may be required.

The (Blade) Machine Operator is responsible for set up and the operation of semi-automatic CNC grinding equipment, for the purpose of blade sharpening. Assisting with the controlling and maintenance of the blade inventory including ensuring a minimum inventory is maintained. Performing quality checks and ensures applicable documentation is filled out accurately as needed. Performing routine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting as needed. This position requires distribution of saw blades to manufacturing operations, as well as forklift and overhead crane use. Shifts may involve various shifts and overtime hours depending on the scope of work and plant activity. Adherence to all company policies and processes as well as active participation in FET’s Health, Safety and Environment program is required. Additional duties and special projects as assigned.
