Maple Leaf Foods Inc. in London, Ontario, is hiring for a temporary contract production team member to support high‑quality poultry product manufacturing. You will work Monday–Friday with potential overtime on Saturdays, handling live poultry, and ensuring line pace and hang standards are met.

Safe, accurate, and efficient execution is expected in a fast-paced plant environment. Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, maintain cleanliness, and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Previous experience in manufacturing or food production (asset)
• Reliable transportation to work site

Responsabilités

• Follow safety and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Work with live poultry
• Set the pace for the line to meet efficiency standards
• Push the birds to the line hangers and ensure proper hanging
• Correct any missing or empty shackles or improperly hung birds
• Overtime may be required on Saturdays

Job Description

Position Summary

We are looking for reliable and motivated individuals to join our team to support the production of high-quality food products.

You will:

Work with live poultry

Set the pace for the line with the expectation that you meet our efficiency standards

Push the birds to the lead hangers to ensure that they are able to hang according to our standards

Correct any missing / empty shackles or improperly hung birds

Perform other tasks according to daily requirements and working overtime when necessary

Operations run Monday-Friday with occasional overtime required on Saturdays.
