Maple Leaf Foods is seeking reliable, motivated individuals to support the production of high‑quality food products. You will work on live poultry lines, set the pace, and ensure birds are hung correctly while meeting efficiency standards.

Position is temporary/contract, with Monday–Friday shifts and occasional Saturdays. We offer hourly compensation at $24.55 CAD and plant perks, including lunches and monthly employee sales.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Manufacturing or food production experience is a plus.
• Reliable transportation to work site.

Position Summary

We are looking for reliable and motivated individuals to join our team to support the production of high-quality food products.

You Will

• Work with live poultry
• Set the pace for the line with the expectation that you meet our efficiency standards
• Push the birds to the lead hangers to ensure that they are able to hang according to our standards
• Correct any missing / empty shackles or improperly hung birds
• Perform other tasks according to daily requirements and working overtime when necessary

Operations run Monday-Friday with occasional overtime required on Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow safety and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Previous experience in manufacturing or food production (asset)
• Reliable transportation to work site
