Job summary

Maple Leaf Foods Inc. is seeking reliable, motivated individuals to support production of high-quality food products at our Ontario facility. role includes working with live poultry, setting line pace to meet efficiency standards, and ensuring proper hanging and safety.

Position is full-time, permanent with Monday–Friday shifts, 1:15pm–9:45pm, occasional Saturdays. Eligible for dental and medical coverage after specified periods and production bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Experience in manufacturing or food production is an asset.
• Reliable transportation to the work site.

Responsibilities

• Work with live poultry.
• Set the pace for the line and meet efficiency standards.
• Push birds to the lead hangers for proper hanging.
• Correct missing/empty shackles or improperly hung birds.
• Perform other tasks and overtime as needed.
• Follow safety and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Position Summary

We are looking for reliable and motivated individuals to join our team to support the production of high-quality food products.

You will:

Work with live poultry

Set the pace for the line with the expectation that you meet our efficiency standards

Push the birds to the lead hangers to ensure that they are able to hang according to our standards

Correct any missing / empty shackles or improperly hung birds

Perform other tasks according to daily requirements and working overtime when necessary

Operations run Monday-Friday with occasional overtime required on Saturdays.

Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs

Additional Information
