Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Biology Subject Matter Expert to design challenging biology questions and evaluate AI model outputs. This is a remote, hourly contract offering 10–40 hours per week with full flexibility to set your own schedule.

You will develop clear, step-by-step solutions grounded in biology, assess accuracy and depth of reasoning, and collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks from undergraduate to Master’s level across multiple subdisciplines.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or closely related field
• Strong scientific reasoning and problem-solving across advanced biology domains
• Able to communicate complex ideas clearly in writing
• Detail-oriented with accuracy and rigor
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and asynchronously

Responsibilities

• Design challenging biology questions to test AI performance
• Develop clear, step-by-step solutions grounded in scientific reasoning
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy and quality
• Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks across undergrad to Master’s topics
