Job summary

AECOM is seeking a BIM Specialist, Tunnel Practice to be based in our Markham office. The BIM Specialist will lead tunnelling and underground infrastructure BIM initiatives across Canada, supporting multidisciplinary teams with design coordination, clash detection, and digital delivery using ACC, BIM 360, Civil 3D and Revit.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of BIM experience on infrastructure projects, strong knowledge of ISO 19650, and hands-on experience with data management, 4D/5D workflows,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 2 years of relevant BIM experience or demonstrated equivalency on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud and multidisciplinary design coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement BIM strategies for tunnelling and underground projects.
• Support BIM processes from conceptual design to construction and handover.
• Facilitate integration of BIM technologies with project requirements for optimization.
• Ensure robust data management and ISO 19650 compliance.
