Role description:

Arcadis Canada Mobility's Digital, Road Design and CAD discipline is searching for a BIM Manager to join its growing team. The Manager will have direct reports and will facilitate the BIM production team liaising with various discipline groups that represent the Mobility group. The Manager will also be part of a national network of office-focused BIM leaders governed by the Canada Mobility BIM Lead. This role focuses on cross-sector synergy, global work-sharing, standardization, and data harnessing throughout a project’s lifecycle.

Role accountabilities:
  • Lead and provide direction and technical advice to team members, supporting their project delivery and professional development.
  • Review models/drawings, liaise with project teams, and ensure compliance with BIM standards and project requirements.
  • Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans and delivery strategies in collaboration with clients and project teams.
  • Manage team performance, allocate resources, and oversee operational workloads.
  • Establish effective communication with project directors, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Manage BIM processes supported by appropriate tools, including multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Contribute to BIM policies and strategies, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Review and select BIM-related software, develop business cases for new investments.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 7+ years of relevant experience, including supervision of large infrastructure or transportation projects.
  • Experience with ISO 19650 protocols and application on large projects.
  • Strong project management, client relationship, and technical BIM skills.
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D or OpenRoads Designer.
  • Experience managing virtual teams and defining BIM outcomes.
  • Ability to develop BIM protocols and execution plans.

Salary Range:

$95,900 - $178,100, based on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
