Job summary

ARX is hiring a BIM professional for our Toronto team to develop and coordinate multidisciplinary infrastructure models within the Bentley ecosystem. You will advance models from LOD 100 to LOD 500 and support information-management workflows across projects.

The role requires strong modeling skills, BIM coordination expertise, and knowledge of ISO 19650. Fluency in English and legal work authorization in Canada are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical qualification in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Technology, Drafting or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional BIM modeling experience for civil/infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience with Bentley OpenBuildings Designer and MicroStation.
• Good knowledge of Bentley OpenRoads/OpenTunnel Designer.
• Experience developing and coordinating complex 3D infrastructure models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update parametric BIM models based on engineering drawings and BIM requirements.
• Support model development from LOD 100 to LOD 500, including geometry and information requirements.
• Produce engineering drawings and project deliverables from BIM models.
• Perform model federation, interdisciplinary coordination and clash detection.
• Identify and resolve modeling issues with BIM Coordinators and Project Engineers.
• Perform BIM QA/QC for geometry, attributes, classification and consistency.
• Manage model information per project BIM requirements and standards.
• Work within a Common Data Environment (CDE) and contribute to BIM information-management processes.
