Job summary

Henriquez Partners Architects seeks an experienced Intermediate Production BIM LEAD to coordinate and manage BIM workflows across mixed-use projects. The role emphasizes Revit proficiency and producing detailed construction documents, with oversight by the Project Architect and BIM Associate.

Preference given to candidates with experience in mixed-use commercial/residential developments and market/nonmarket housing, and with Vancouver and/or Toronto local experience.

Qualifications

• Intermediate knowledge of Revit and related BIM software.
• Produce construction documents including floor plans, sections, callouts, 3D views and schedules.
• Create custom parametric families in Revit.
• Utilize Revit system as a design tool.
• Guide others to understand and use BIM concepts and tools.
• Set up Revit projects to comply with standards and ensure model maintenance and archiving.

Intermediate Production BIM LEAD
We are looking to fill a Production BIM Coordinator position. The candidate should have extensive knowledge of REVIT and experience producing, coordinating and managing digital architectural models. In addition to being integral to the production on a project team, the Production BIM Coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining the BIM models and associated support systems and documents to ensure the performance and quality levels meet the specific project BIM requirements and HPA BIM Standards. With the support of the BIM Associate, the Production BIM Coordinator provides technical support to the project team and reports jointly to the Project Architect and BIM Associate. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in mixed use commercial/residential, and market/nonmarket housing.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Intermediate knowledge of and proven practical background in Autodesk Revit and related BIM software.
• Ability to utilize Autodesk Revit application to produce construction documents including floor plans, sections, callouts, 3D views, 2D details and schedules.
• Ability to create custom parametric families.
• Ability to utilize Revit “system” as a design tool.
• Ability to guide others to understand and use BIM concepts and tools.
• Ability to setup Revit projects to comply with BxP, POMP and Office Standards, while ensuring that model maintenance, auditing, file sharing and archiving is completed accordingly.
• VectorWorks, SketchUp, InDesign, Photoshop, CAD and Illustrator skills are assets.

ALL SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL:

• Have local Vancouver and/or Toronto experience.
• A Technologist Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and 5+ years of relevant proven Architectural Production and BIM Coordination experience.
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of maintaining high quality standards in a deadline driven environment.
• Be able to work independently and in a team environment.
