Job summary

Stantec is seeking an ICT design professional to join our Buildings team in Canada. You will design structured cabling, network infrastructure, and related systems for diverse projects, using Revit and AutoCAD MEP, and collaborating across disciplines.

This role emphasizes communications with clients, site visits, and developing design documents that meet codes and QA standards; hybrid work and ongoing technical development are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5 years of experience, or equivalent.
• RCDD or preparing for RCDD license preferred.
• Experience in building infrastructure projects and cross-discipline integration.

Responsibilities

• Design structured cabling systems for buildings and campuses.
• Update specifications to match client needs or standards.
• Designs must meet local, provincial, and federal code requirements.
• Coordinate with Project managers and other design team members.
• Provide contract documents that meet required codes and QA standards.
• Attend site visits and client meetings as needed.
• Collaborate across BIM and other disciplines to deliver a coordinated design.
• Participate in meetings and training; expand skillset through cross-training.
• Hybrid work schedule with flexible hours depending on deliverables.
