Job Opportunity: Mechanical Designer

Join one of the most established mechanical contractors in the Woodbridge area! We seek an enthusiastic team member with strong technical knowledge in CAD/BIM, specifically 3D, Revit, and Navisworks. The role involves preparing detailed design drawings for Mechanical-focused ICI projects, from inception to completion, including design, build, and install packages. Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing piping systems, mechanical equipment, mechanical room layout, design, and field engineering is essential.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• 2-3 years of experience with AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revit, Autodesk Fabrication, and other relevant software.
• Experience reading and interpreting large-scale project drawings, mechanical shop drawings, and specifications.
• Knowledge of construction industry standards and codes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare design and coordination drawings of piping systems (HVAC) based on project specifications.
• Create detailed fabrication drawings using Autodesk Fabrication, Revit, and other software.
• Coordinate and prioritize multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Attend BIM site meetings.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Foremen, and team members throughout the drawing process.
