Base pay range

CA$60,000.00/yr - CA$75,000.00/yr

Role Summary:

The Billing Coordinator will support invoicing and billing operations. The successful candidate will handle billing preparation and finalization, ensure accuracy in financial data, and work closely with internal teams to meet monthly and quarterly billing deadlines.

Key Responsibilities & Functions:

  • Prepare, review, and finalize client invoices, ensuring alignment with internal procedures and client expectations
  • Maintain and update billing records and client data in the billing system
  • Collaborate with professionals across the organization to gather, clarify, and confirm billing details
  • Support the year-end billing cycle and contribute to process improvements
  • Assist in onboarding new team members with billing process training
  • Provide billing-related support across departments as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2+ years of billing experience, including support during the year-end cycle (must be noted on your resume)
  • Previous experience in a professional services environment (e.g., legal, accounting, consulting)
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with experience working with external clients
  • Familiarity with Aderant (CMS) or similar billing systems is an asset
  • Bilingual in English and French is considered a plus
