Job summary

Pinchin is seeking a Billing Coordinator to join our Finance team in Mississauga, ON. You will support billing activities across projects, coordinating setups, preparing and processing client invoices, and maintaining project records to ensure accurate, timely billing in line with policies.

You will partner with Project Managers and internal stakeholders to review variances, manage WIP, and identify additional billing opportunities while ensuring compliance with revenue recognition policies.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of accounting, project accounting, billing, or related financial experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience working with ERP systems; Deltek Vision experience is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve new project setups.
  • Monitor work-in-progress by reviewing project labour, expenses, and disbursements.
  • Process project billing in accordance with company revenue recognition policies.
  • Prepare pre-billing documentation and complete timely invoicing.
  • Post accounting entries and coordinate invoice distribution.
  • Maintain project records, including contracts and supporting documentation.
  • Investigate variances and provide reports to management.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to identify additional billing opportunities.
  • Track funding and advise on budget utilization and remaining funding.
  • Review and investigate expenses not billed to clients.
  • Support closeout activities and account reconciliation after project completion.
  • Assist with internal audits and financial reporting.

Pinchin is seeking a Billing Coordinator to join our Finance team in Mississauga, ON. Reporting to the Project Accounting Manager, this is a replacement role for an established position.

Role Overview

As a Billing Coordinator, you will support the billing activities of projects across the organization. Your Role and Action

  • Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of accounting, project accounting, billing, or related financial experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience working with ERP systems; Deltek Vision experience is considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
