Job summary

WSP is seeking a Billing Coordinator to airtight invoicing and collaborate with project and finance teams across Canada. This role suits recent graduates or early‑career professionals building a solid foundation in a global firm.

Qualifications

  • Completed post-secondary education in Finance or Accounting.

  • Previous billing experience considered an asset.
  • Solid understanding of accounts receivable, collections, and customer service principles.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada without restrictions.

  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism, tact, and diplomacy with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Set up and manage billing terms in internal systems for an assigned portfolio of projects and clients
  • Obtain additional billing details to ensure accuracy and elevate billing issues or concerns to the Regional Billing Manager
  • Generate and submit invoice drafts and supporting documentation to reviewers/approvers; revise as required
  • Prepare and issue final invoice packages to clients within required timelines while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Managers, and Project Accountants to resolve issues efficiently
  • Assess billing workflows and recommend improvements to reduce turnaround time and enhance efficiency
  • Perform reconciliation of billing, data entry, filing, and organization of supporting documentation; prepare reports and spreadsheets as needed
  • Take on additional billing and administrative responsibilities as required

Your Impact

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $66,700 - $88,400
MB & ON: $60,900 - $83,800
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $60,300 - $80,000
