Job summary

WSP is hiring an Analyst, Benefits to help shape the employee experience by developing, administering, and continuously improving our benefits programs across Canada.

You will analyze benefits data, collaborate with HR partners and vendors, support renewals and enrollment, respond to inquiries, and prepare reports to inform decisions while ensuring compliance and competitiveness. This role strengthens employee wellness and growth within a global engineering firm.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in HR, business, finance or related field.
  • Experience supporting employee benefits or total rewards initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and derive insights.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and MS Office.
  • Attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Bilingual English and French required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the administration and delivery of employee benefit programs across Canada.
  • Analyze benefits data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with vendors, HR teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless employee experience.
  • Assist with annual renewals, enrollment activities, and benefits projects.
  • Respond to employee and management inquiries regarding plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations to support informed decisions.
  • Monitor legislative and market developments to maintain program compliance and competitiveness.
  • Contribute to initiatives that strengthen employee wellness and organizational growth.

As an Analyst, Benefits, you will play an important role in supporting employees, leaders, and HR partners while helping ensure our benefits programs remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with our people‑first culture.

Your Impact

The Skills That Set You Apart
  • Post‑secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting employee benefits, pension programs, or total rewards initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop meaningful insights.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and Microsoft suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is required.

Compensation
  • AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $66,700 – $88,400
  • MB & ON: $60,900 – $83,800
  • NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $60,300 – $80,000
