Job summary

Canada Post is seeking an Officer, Training Design and Development and Quality Coach in Ottawa. You will design, develop, and update training programs and QA materials for shared services employees to boost knowledge and job skills while improving operations efficiency and achieving strategic objectives.

You will coach Quality Officers, support implementation, and drive best practices in training delivery and quality assurance evaluations across the organization.

Qualifications

• University or college degree/diploma in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of related work experience.
• 1-3 years’ experience in coaching employees.
• Experience coordinating- and/or leading training projects including eLearning, instructor led and blended development, analysis, delivery and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Conducts training needs analysis for new and existing training programs by assessing knowledge and skills gaps, budgets, and resources.
• Designs, develops, and maintains training programs and materials, including eLearning modules, job aids, and facilitator guides.
• Leads content translation to meet Official Languages Policy.
• Leads training and quality evaluation activities and analyzes data to report on objectives.
• Coaches Quality Officers to improve skills and performance.
