Job summary

Hendriks Greenhouses is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support Temporary Foreign Workers (TFWs) in Ontario. Reporting to the HR Manager, this role requires flexibility as hours may vary.

The position focuses on onboarding and training of TFWs, ongoing wellness checks, housing inspections with Maintenance, transportation support, translation services, and maintaining TFW records while contributing to program improvements.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Valid Ontario G Class Driver's Licence.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Good judgement and problem-solving abilities.
• Customer-focused with professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Assist HR with onboarding and training of Temporary Foreign Workers.
• Conduct wellness checks and address worker concerns.
• Coordinate housing inspections with Maintenance.
• Provide transportation, banking and shopping assistance as needed.
• Provide translation support for workers.
• Update TFW records and support program improvements.
