Job Description Summary
The
Bilingual Technology Solutions Consultant serves as a trusted advisor to brokers and industry partners, providing expert guidance on the integration and implementation of FIRST Canada's API-based embedded payment solutions. Collaborating closely with the Sales and Product teams, this role identifies suitable integration partners and drives solution implementation through structured project management and strategic planning. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of FIRST Canada's technical offerings, a client-first mindset, strong problem-solving capabilities, and proficiency in project management best practices to ensure a seamless solution delivery and a superior partner experience.
What You’ll Do
- Lead discussions with clients and partners regarding FIRST Canada’s technical solutions and API integrations, ensuring clear understanding of how solutions function and align with client needs.
- Build a comprehensive understanding of insurance premium finance to offer clients expert advice on optimal workflows and proactively identify potential risk areas.
- Translate discussions into actionable project plans, and work collaboratively with stakeholders to move initiatives forward.
- Work closely with internal teams to design and implement compliant, efficient back-end processes
- Develop clear and detailed technical documentation, including specifications for customizations, bug fixes, workflow diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Plan and execute user acceptance testing (UAT), coordinating with clients’ technical teams to share results, analyze outcomes, and drive resolution of any issues.
- Deliver internal training and knowledge sharing on completed integrations.
- Partner with Customer Success Managers to conduct post-implementation reviews, using performance data and stakeholder feedback to recommend enhancements.
- Provide intermediate to advanced troubleshooting support for integration issues reported by internal teams or external partners.
- Support various administrative and testing-related tasks as required by the project lifecycle.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of independently managing time and prioritizing multiple tasks.
- Analytical problem-solver and proactive self-starter who thrives in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering outstanding customer service to both internal and external clients.
- Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable navigating change in a dynamic environment.
- Advanced technical acumen with a continuous learning mindset and eagerness to deepen technical expertise.
- Strong technical aptitude, with hands-on experience working with APIs and API tools (e.g., - Postman, Swagger)
Training/Education/Experience Qualifications
- Fluency in both English and French is required, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively in both languages.
- 3-5 years of experience in technical implementation consulting or solution delivery
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Formal training or certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or IT service management (e.g., ITIL) is considered an asset.
Compensation
The expected compensation range for this role is $71,000 - $92,000.
