Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience in a corporate environment.
  • Experience developing sourcing strategies and engaging passive candidates.
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms like Jobvite or Workday.
  • Bilingual English/French communication skills are essential for one role.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist based in Canada.


This is a full-cycle talent acquisition role supporting a diverse range of corporate, operational, technical, analytical, leadership, and specialized positions.
You’ll partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and build targeted recruitment strategies.
The role combines proactive sourcing, candidate assessment, stakeholder coaching, and offer management from start to finish.
You’ll help strengthen talent pipelines through digital sourcing, employee referrals, social media, networking, and recruitment events.
A strong focus is placed on delivering a fair, inclusive, consistent, and engaging candidate experience.
You’ll work alongside HR professionals in a collaborative People & Culture environment while contributing to recruitment innovation and process improvements.
The position is particularly well suited to an experienced recruiter who is organized, consultative, resourceful, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.


Accountabilities


  • Full-cycle recruitment: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including intake discussions, sourcing, screening, skills assessments, interviewing, reference checks, offer preparation, and offer execution.

  • Hiring manager partnership: Coach and advise hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle, helping them define requirements, assess candidates, navigate selection decisions, and achieve successful hiring outcomes.

  • Recruitment strategy: Develop and execute creative, targeted sourcing and recruitment strategies for both standard and difficult-to-fill positions.

  • Talent sourcing: Identify and engage qualified active and passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, professional networks, employee referrals, recruitment events, and other talent acquisition channels.

  • Candidate assessment: Develop screening criteria, skills assessments, interview guides, and other evaluation tools to support structured and effective hiring decisions.

  • Candidate experience: Conduct candidate screenings and participate in interviews while ensuring a professional, fair, consistent, inclusive, and positive experience throughout the process.

  • Employer brand: Collaborate with Communications and Marketing teams on recruitment campaigns, social media activity, networking initiatives, and employer branding efforts.

  • Offers & compensation: Conduct reference checks and prepare and extend employment offers, including salary assessments based on market data, internal equity, and relevant HR guidance.

  • Stakeholder communication: Maintain regular communication with HR Business Partners regarding search progress, candidate pipelines, challenges, and complex recruitment matters.

  • Recruitment systems: Keep applicant tracking and HR systems accurate and up to date, including job postings, interview notes, candidate information, reports, and other recruitment documentation.

  • Continuous improvement: Collaborate with People & Culture colleagues on recruitment initiatives, process improvements, and opportunities to enhance talent acquisition practices.


Requirements


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or an equivalent field.

  • Recruitment experience: At least 4 years of relevant experience conducting full-cycle, in-house recruitment within a corporate environment.

  • Sourcing expertise: Demonstrated experience developing recruitment and sourcing strategies, including proactive candidate sourcing through LinkedIn Recruiter and social media platforms.

  • Recruitment technology: Strong ability to navigate applicant tracking systems, recruiting software, and HR management platforms; experience with Jobvite or Workday is an asset.

  • Specialized recruitment: Experienced developing sourcing strategies for difficult-to-fill positions is highly valued; technical recruitment, healthcare-sector experience, and collaboration with executive search firms are considered assets.

  • HR knowledge: Understanding of common HR practices, employment legislation, and government compliance requirements relevant to recruitment and selection.

  • Professional designation: CHRP, CHRL, CPC, RPR, or another relevant HR/recruitment certification is an asset.

  • Bilingual capability: Advanced verbal and written proficiency in both English and French is essential for one position; bilingual English/French capability is strongly preferred for the other.

  • Relationship management: Strong interpersonal and client-service skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with employees, hiring managers, and HR stakeholders.

  • Communication & negotiation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to manage difficult conversations, negotiate employment offers, and build consensus.

  • Organization: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage candidate files, scheduling, communications, and recruitment activities accurately.

  • Prioritization: Ability to independently plan, prioritize, and manage a high volume of recruitment activity across multiple deadlines in a fast-paced hybrid environment.

  • Problem-solving: Strong collaboration, decision‑making, initiative, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop practical solutions with minimal direction.

  • Confidentiality: Demonstrated discretion and diplomacy when handling sensitive and confidential candidate and employee information.


Benefits


  • Salary range of CAD $85,500–$114,400, classified as Level 8.

  • Full‑time term position through approximately mid‑September 2028.
