Job summary

Bilingual Source in Toronto is seeking a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Associate (French Required) to join the People and Culture team. This permanent, full-time role targets candidates with 1–2+ years of recruitment experience and offers exposure to HR coordination and people-focused initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 1–2+ years of hands-on talent acquisition or recruitment experience.
  • Experience supporting full-cycle recruitment and multiple active requisitions.
  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • HR designation or progress toward certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment technology.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment from intake through onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define position requirements.
  • Source and develop candidate pipelines via networks, job boards, referrals.
  • Conduct phone, virtual, behavioural, and situational interviews.
  • Present qualified shortlists and provide hiring recommendations.
  • Maintain candidate data and onboarding information in HR systems.
  • Support recruitment across Finance, HR, Marketing, Legal, Technology, and Operations.
  • Engage candidates and stakeholders with proactive communication.
  • Contribute to recruitment marketing, employer branding, and campus initiatives.
  • Participate in talent acquisition projects and broader People & Culture initiatives.
  • Gain exposure to HR coordination activities for career progression.

Introduction

Are you a bilingual recruitment professional ready to grow your career beyond day-to-day hiring? Our client is looking for a Bilingual Talent Acquisition Associate (French Required) to join its People and Culture team in Toronto.


This permanent, full-time opportunity is ideal for someone with 1 to 2+ years of recruitment experience who enjoys connecting great candidates with meaningful opportunities and wants broader exposure to HR coordination and people-focused initiatives. You will have the opportunity to strengthen your full-cycle recruitment expertise while building experience that can support future progression into broader People Partner responsibilities.


Compensation: $55,000 to $65,000 annually


Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time


Language Requirement: Bilingual English and French

What You'll Do

You will play an active role in attracting, assessing, and hiring talent across a variety of business functions. Working closely with hiring managers and members of the People and Culture team, you will manage recruitment activities from initial intake through onboarding while creating a positive candidate experience.

Responsibilities


  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer coordination, and onboarding.

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and define position requirements.

  • Source and develop candidate pipelines through professional networks, job boards, referrals, and other recruitment channels.

  • Conduct phone, virtual, behavioural, and situational interviews.

  • Present qualified candidate shortlists and provide thoughtful hiring recommendations.

  • Maintain accurate candidate, requisition, and onboarding information within applicant tracking and HR systems.

  • Support recruitment across functions such as Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Legal, Technology, and operations.

  • Maintain proactive and professional communication with candidates and hiring stakeholders.

  • Contribute to recruitment marketing, employer branding, career fairs, networking, and campus initiatives.

  • Participate in talent acquisition projects and broader People and Culture initiatives.

  • Gain exposure to HR coordination activities that can help build a foundation for future career progression.


Qualifications


  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French.

  • Approximately 1 to 2+ years of hands-on talent acquisition or recruitment experience.

  • Experience supporting full-cycle recruitment and managing multiple active requisitions simultaneously.

  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

  • HR designation or progress toward certification is considered an asset.

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment technology.

  • Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills.

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Professional approach to confidential information and strong attention to detail.

  • Proficiency with common Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.
