Job summary

Bilingual Source is seeking a Bilingual HR Advisor (English and French) in Toronto. You will partner with leaders and employees across Quebec and provide strategic HR guidance to create an engaging, inclusive, high-performing workplace.

You will support employee relations, talent development, workforce planning, and compliance with employment legislation. The role offers professional growth within a collaborative HR team.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years in an HR advisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations and employment legislation.
  • Excellent bilingual communication in English and French.
  • Experience with HR technology platforms is an asset.
  • CHRP, CRHA, or progress toward designation is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Build partnerships with bilingual leaders and employees across an assigned regional portfolio.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, workplace accommodations, attendance management, conflict resolution, and progressive discipline.
  • Support investigations, workplace concerns, and employee complaint resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal specialists on employee benefits, wellness initiatives, leaves of absence, return to work planning, and workplace accommodations.
  • Partner with hiring leaders and Talent Acquisition to support recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and talent development initiatives.
  • Assist leaders with succession planning, employee development, and retention strategies.
  • Analyze workforce trends and recommend solutions that improve employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support change management initiatives and Human Resources programs throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated people solutions.
  • Maintain accurate employee records while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and organizational policies.

Introduction

Are you a bilingual professional, fluent in both English and French, who is passionate about helping people thrive while supporting business success? Our client is seeking a Bilingual HR Advisor to join a collaborative and people-first Human Resources team.

This is an existing vacancy with immediate availability. In this role, you will partner with leaders and employees across Quebec, providing strategic HR guidance while helping create an engaging, inclusive, and high-performing workplace. Compensation:

$65,000 to $80,000 annually, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual performance bonus.

What You’ll Do

As a Bilingual HR Advisor, you will serve as a trusted partner to leaders and employees, providing practical Human Resources guidance that supports business objectives and enhances the employee experience. You will contribute to employee relations, talent development, workforce planning, and organizational success while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and HR best practices.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Experience with HR technology platforms is considered an asset.
  • CHRP, CRHA, or progress toward obtaining a designation is considered an asset.
