Job description

LeverageTek is actively seeking a Bilingual Store Manager for a permanent full-time opportunity with its Ottawa-based customer.

Work Location: Gatineau – Onsite Thursday to Monday (off Tuesday and Wednesday)

Key Tasks

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to create a strong store culture that generates high performing and engaged employees
• Provide an optimal level of leadership, while coaching and developing store employees
• Analyze results, set and achieve clear goals for the store and sales team
• Strong understanding of retail store operations, merchandising and customer service
• Must be organized and detail-oriented person with strong follow up skills
• High level of attention to detail and ability to multitask

Key Qualifications

• Experience directing the day-to-day functions of a sales floor
• Must be able to work weekends and evenings
• Management experience required, Retail Store Manager experience preferred

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, post-secondary education preferred
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Proficient computer and technology skills
• Professional dress and appearance
• A self-motivated person who can thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in retail and monitoring the flow of customers, managing and directing the day-to-day functions of a sales floor

Asset

Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus but not mandatory.
