Software International (SI) supplies technical talent to a variety of clients ranging from Fortune 100/500/1000 companies to small and mid‑sized organizations in Canada/US and Europe.

We currently have a multiple, re‑extendable, long term contract roles as a Bilingual Solution Architect - SAP HR with our global SAP consulting client, working onsite at large CPG client’s office 2‑3 days a week in Montreal. This is a 6 month contract initially, but will be extended long term.

Rate: $100/hr C2C

Role Overview

As our Solutions Architect, you’ll design the backbone that connects Human Resources in a major digital transformation for human capital management, workforce management, time & attendance, benefits, and payroll platforms. Your work ensures employees are paid accurately, managers have real‑time workforce insights, and leadership can trust the data driving strategic decisions.

What You’ll Do
  • Architect End-to-End Solutions: Design scalable, secure, and future‑ready architectures for HRIS, time & attendance, and payroll systems integrated with ERP platforms.
  • Own Integration Strategy: In relation with the system integrators, define APIs, middleware, ETL flows, and real‑time data exchange patterns that keep systems in sync.
  • Bridge Business & Technology: Translate HR, time & attendance, and payroll requirements into technical blueprints that developers and stakeholders can rally around.
  • Lead Technical Delivery: Guide teams through design, build, test, and deployment; ensure solutions meet performance, compliance, and usability standards.
  • Champion Data Integrity & Security: Work in collaboration with the security team and system integrators, safeguard sensitive employee data with robust governance, audit, and compliance frameworks.
  • Future‑Proof Systems: Evaluate proposed configuration to keep our ecosystem on a smooth evolution path & keep it ahead of the curve.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: 7+ years in IT solutions architecture or senior technical roles, with deep exposure to HR, time & attendance, and payroll systems.
  • Bilingual in English and French.
  • ERP Expertise: Hands‑on integration with SAP platforms.
  • Technical Mastery: APIs (REST/SOAP), middleware/iPaaS (SAP BTP IS, Boomi), ETL, and data mapping.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong grasp of HR processes (employee lifecycle, time & attendance, recruitment, compensation, benefits, scheduling, payroll calculations).
  • Compliance Awareness: Familiar with data protection standards and payroll regulations across jurisdictions.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, stakeholder influence, and the ability to simplify complexity.
Core Competencies and Tools
  • Experience with HR platforms (Workday).
  • Time & Attendance in a manufacturing environment (Kronos, UKG Pro WFM).
  • Multi‑country payroll project exposure.
  • Agile delivery and CI/CD integration experience.
  • Experience on some SAP core processes in a manufacturing environment.
