Base pay range

CA$28.00/hr - CA$32.00/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a Bilingual Site Supervisor responsible for overseeing security guards at the assigned client site. The role involves monitoring activities, reporting incidents, ensuring the safety of property and personnel, conducting patrols, and enforcing site regulations.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and supervise security staff during assigned shifts, ensure adherence to post orders, complete rounds, and file reports; respond to emergencies appropriately.
2. Counsel and discipline personnel as needed, consult with management, and document actions.
3. Assist in training security guards and reviewing post orders.
4. Contribute to payroll and personnel reporting.
5. Coordinate with management to ensure adequate security coverage.
6. Prepare and submit reports as required.
7. Inspect posts, assign tasks, and meet with staff to outline responsibilities.
8. Engage with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and provide excellent customer service.
9. Perform supervisory duties such as interviewing, training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions, in accordance with policies and laws.

Qualifications

1. Bilingual in English and French.
2. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
3. Eligibility for a secret security clearance (minimum 10 years in Canada).
4. Ontario Security Guard license.
5. Availability for on-call work 24/7.
6. Knowledge of security strategies, standards, policies, and procedures.
7. Strong leadership, motivation, and customer service skills.
8. Ability to manage schedules and understand security devices and controls.
9. Adaptability to changing environments.
