Job summary

Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care is seeking a reliable Driver to provide safe, punctual transportation for seniors across campuses. The role requires a valid Ontario G license and at least three years of driving experience, with a clean record.

Fluency in English and Chinese is required, along with a satisfactory police background check. The successful candidate will deliver compassionate, customer-focused service, work weekends as needed, and participate in ongoing training and safety

Qualifications

• Possesses a valid Class G Ontario Driving License.
• Minimum 3 years driving experience with a clean driving record.
• Understanding about vehicle maintenance preferable.
• Experience in working with seniors an asset.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Recent satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Screen result.
• Fluency in both English and Chinese required.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings as required for special events/functions.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Centre’s vehicle to transport clients safely and punctually.
• Adhere to the Highway Traffic Act and organizational policies.
• Provide courteous, compassionate service to seniors and families.
• Support logistics for special events and evening functions.
