Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Bus Driver to transport residents to events and activities across the residence network in Canada. You will help residents enter and exit the vehicle and ensure their safety during transport.

The role requires clear English communication, a valid Class F or 4 license as applicable in provinces, CPR/First Aid certification, and a patient, compassionate approach to seniors. Training and a supportive team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong written and verbal English skills.
• Must possess a valid and applicable class of driver's license, with a clean driving record.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Experience working with seniors is an asset.
• Ability to work well in a team and show empathy and patience.

Responsibilities

• Transport Residents in company vehicle to events and activities.
• Assist Residents with entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Maintain harmonious relationships with residents, families and staff.
• Attend training and staff meetings as required.
• Uphold Residents' Rights and the organization's ethics and integrity.
