Position Overview :

The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a key cross-functional role with internal and external stakeholders. This position involves high customer interaction and communication to ensure a positive and professional patient experience.

Responsibilities :

• Understand Insulet insurance contracts, channeling, and processing requirements for all covered products.
• Process reimbursement by contacting payors, verifying insurance benefits, and adhering to medical guidelines.
• Submit all prior authorization requests for approval and payment of Insulet products.
• Calculate and document cost share amounts for both English and French-speaking customers.
• Collaborate with teams such as Case Management, Sales, and Billing to communicate order status.
• Document interactions into the customer database, maintaining HIPAA compliance.
• Provide feedback to support process improvement.
• Perform other duties as required.

Education and Experience :

Minimum Requirements :

• Post-Secondary Certificate or Diploma

Preferred Skills and Competencies :

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 2+ years in medical device, healthcare, or related fields preferred
• Knowledge of managed care industry and patient support experience preferred
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM preferred
• Ability to work overtime as needed
