Job summary

Global-Technical-Talent-1 in Burlington, ON is seeking a Contract Recruiter to drive end-to-end recruitment with a hybrid onsite/remote work arrangement. The role prioritizes a positive candidate experience and efficient hiring processes for a fast-paced retail environment.

The recruiter will engage talent using global tools, build strong stakeholder relationships, and ensure alignment with sourcing strategies while promoting Diversity, Equality and Inclusion within every step of the process.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and French is a must.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in recruiting or a similar role.

Key Responsibilities

• Creates an outstanding candidate experience from initial candidate contact to job offer that is efficient and aligned with our values.
• Utilises global tools, programs and direct recruiting techniques to identify, attract, and engage qualified candidates for assigned and anticipated vacancies.
• Communicates effectively and proactively throughout the recruiting process.
• Builds and maintains manageable talent pools in software systems.
• Screens, interviews and prepares candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.
• Fosters and manages effective relations with stakeholders within the country organisation to ensure alignment with sourcing strategies while managing stakeholder expectations.
• Integrates the Diversity, Equality and Inclusion approach and knowledge into the recruitment.

Required Skills

• Communicating effectively in verbal and written communication; fluency in English and French is a must.
• Building virtual collaborative relationships to facilitate current objectives.
• Acting without needing direction from others — ability to work independently, take initiatives and responsibility, but also a team-player.
• Knowledge of hiring talent on assignments and projects in an agile way to meet the demands of the rapidly changing business environment.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Hybrid schedule: 3 days per week at the office, 2 days remote from home.
• Must be located close to one of the following stores: Burlington, Montreal, or Quebec City.
