Job summary

North Eastern Ontario Family and Children’s Services is seeking a Protection Support Worker for an 18-month full-time contract in New Liskeard. You will provide protective and preventive services to children, individuals and families as part of the Investigation, Assessment and Ongoing team, serving children in care and approved placements.

Requirements include a college diploma in human services, willingness to work flexible hours, travel as needed, and bilingual English/French.

Qualifications

• A college diploma in human services is required.
• Must be willing and able to work flexible hours.
• Must be willing to travel as required.
• Ability to interpret and apply legislative requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Bilingualism (English/French) is required.
• Candidates must possess a minimum G2 driver’s license and be willing to obtain a G class license or have a G license with own vehicle.
