Job summary

Superior Propane, Canada's leading propane provider, seeks a Pricing Analyst to ensure pricing structures are applied accurately to customer accounts and to support profit optimization. The role focuses on maintaining pricing grids, analyzing transportation and tank rental costs, and collaborating with the sales team on profitability.

The ideal candidate has a community college diploma or higher with 3+ years in pricing or analytics, strong data skills, and bilingual English/French for Canadian

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a relevant field (community college diploma preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in an analyst role, preferably in pricing.
• Experience in a pricing function and data analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with understanding of business; commodity pricing exposure is a plus.
• Experience working with large data sets to analyze and provide actionable recommendations.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills; bilingual English/French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop & prepare analytical reports to review pricing accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Maintain regional pricing grids and coordinate pricing changes per updated racks.
• Recommend rack tactics to optimize profitability and ensure costs are recovered.
• Analyze transportation fees and tank rentals to assess profitability.
• Collaborate with sales to review deals for optimized profitability (fixed price/hedging).
• Identify opportunities to improve margins on customer accounts and uncover sales opportunities.
• Review account setup and pricing to ensure costs are applied per contract and margins are met.
• Handle confidential information about customer accounts, pricing, and analysis.
