Job summary

FYidoctors Petitcodiac and FYiDoctors Moncton are seeking a Patient Services Specialist to deliver exceptional service and support to patients in a dynamic, collaborative environment. This casual role runs 0–19 hours per week with clinics open Monday to Saturday.

You will greet patients, assist with check-in/out, perform pre-testing, coordinate appointments, and handle billing. Strong communication and tech skills are essential in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English and French required.
• Previous retail experience is an asset.
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients, manage check-in/check-out, engage in person/phone/email.
• Perform pre-testing to support eye care.
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescriptions, manage billing/payments.
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs.
• Deliver exceptional customer service for a positive patient experience.
• Support clinic operations with additional duties as required.

Our FYidoctors Petitcodiac and FYiDoctors Moncton clinics are looking for someone like you to bring your exceptional skills and experience and join us as a Patient Services Specialist to fill an existing vacancy! In this role, you’ll deliver exceptional service and support, enhancing the lives of our patients in a dynamic, and rewarding environment that values teamwork and collaboration. This position is a casual role working 0-19 hours per week. Our clinic is open Monday to Saturday.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, manage patient check-in and check-out and engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email
• Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments on eyewear
• Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring a positive patient experience
• Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as required

What You Bring

• Bilingual English and French is required
• Previous retail experience is considered an asset
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with patients and delivering exceptional patient experiences
