Role Importance

The role involves supporting local store owners and providing excellent service and expertise to pharmacists and their staff, ensuring top health, beauty, and convenience services for Canadians.

Position Details

This is a remote, bilingual role based in Quebec, with a focus on patient support programs. The COVID-19 vaccination policy applies, requiring full vaccination or regular testing to access the workplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for patients and prescribers in support programs.
  • Conduct welcome calls, introduce programs, and obtain patient consent.
  • Inform patients about program services and support them through their treatment journey.
  • Understand medications and reimbursement mechanisms thoroughly.
  • Advocate for patients, explore funding options, and manage documentation for reimbursements.
  • Coordinate services to ensure timely access to treatment, including training on self-injection.
  • Collaborate with team members and manage escalations to improve patient outcomes.
  • Maintain communication with patients regarding adherence and medication delivery.
  • Report adverse events and product complaints promptly.
Qualifications
  • College diploma or university degree required.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in healthcare or pharmaceuticals, preferably working directly with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Experience with public and private drug reimbursement plans.
  • 2-3 years in customer service or call centers.
  • Strong computer skills; experience with CRM databases is an asset.
  • Bilingual in English and French.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Flexible working hours between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, with willingness to work longer hours if needed.
