Job summary

Altis Technology is seeking a Bilingual Parking Agent for a part-time role in Ottawa, ON. The position requires Advanced French and strong English, with a 3–6 month contract and weekend evening shifts from 4:00 PM to midnight.

You will handle parking inquiries, process payments, and support patients, visitors, and staff in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This role emphasizes reliable communication, technical ease, and a calm, customer-focused approach, with on-site duties and a background check

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of recent experience in a busy, computerized customer service or contact centre environment.
• Advanced spoken French and strong spoken English with clear written communication in both languages.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask across systems.
• Calm, professional approach to handling frustrated callers and resolving customer concerns.
• Availability to work Saturday and Sunday evening shifts, with potential for additional shifts.
• Commit to a minimum 3‑month assignment, with 6 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming calls, providing professional and timely assistance to patients, visitors, and staff.
• Troubleshoot parking equipment issues and guide callers through payment-related concerns.
• Process parking payments, ticket inquiries, and special parking pass requests.
• Manage challenging conversations with patience, empathy, and a solutions-focused approach.
• Accurately document service requests, prepare daily shift reports, and participate in team huddles.
• Follow established procedures while collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
