Summary:

As a bilingual Occupational Health and Safety Analyst, you will be the initial contact for employment incident and injury cases. You will manage new cases and open case files.

Responsibilities:

• Create new occupational injury case files
• Manage assigned cases and gather necessary information to open a case
• Notify the claims management consultant in charge when a serious incident occurs
• Enter opposing comments in case files and follow up to contest cases when appropriate
• Monitor case progress and determine management strategies
• Request independent medical examinations as needed
• Handle requests for modified work and forward them appropriately
• Assist with cost-sharing requests and follow-up on cost allocation
• Perform other related tasks as required

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bilingual fluency in English and French is required
• College diploma in legal techniques or relevant training
• Understanding of occupational injury management (AIAOD and jurisprudence)
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines under pressure
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
