Job summary

Fairstone Bank is hiring a Loan Consultant in Ottawa. You will promote loan and protection products in a fast-paced, sales-driven setting, understanding customer needs to tailor financial solutions and manage the full sales cycle from application to closing.

You’ll build strong client relationships, deliver excellent service, and stay focused on individual and team sales goals while performing credit checks and handling payments and overdue accounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; post-secondary education in finance, sales, or business is an asset.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience with targets.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Bilingual English/French required to communicate with customers across Canada.

About The Role As a Loan Consultant, you’ll play a key part in growing our business by:

• Actively promoting and selling loan and protection products in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma (post-secondary education in finance, sales, or business is an asset)
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience with a focus on meeting/exceeding targets
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
• A customer-first mindset and a passion for delivering value
• Must be able to communicate in both French and English with our customers across Canada. (%50 English, %50 French). The candidate will be expected to communicate with customers, respond to inquiries, handle documentation, and conduct sales and service activities in both English and French on a daily basis.

• Expected base hourly rate of $22.26, plus the opportunity to earn uncapped monthly bonuses tied to performance—your success drives your earnings.
