Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a full-time Bilingual Security Professional for a Reception/Front Desk role in Downtown Vancouver, BC. The candidate will provide professional front desk security and customer service in a government office environment.

Requirements include Canadian residency, English/French fluency, at least one year of security experience, a BC Security Worker Licence, and First Aid/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must be Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident and eligible for Government of Canada Reliability Status clearance.
• Fluency in English and French, both spoken and written.
• Minimum one year of security experience.
• Valid British Columbia Security Worker Licence.
• First Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional front desk security, reception, and customer service.
• Greet and assist employees, visitors, contractors, guests, and clients in a professional manner.
• Verify identification, badges, credentials, and visitor access per site procedures.
• Manage visitor access, keys, access cards, deliveries, and contractors.
• Monitor CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and building systems.
• Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies with composure.
