Job summary

RBC Vancouver is seeking an Associate to support Financial Planners with proactive sales support and value-based client contact. You will collaborate across the organization to meet client needs and strengthen relationships, including in Cantonese and Mandarin language contexts.

The role supports multiple branches in the Vancouver area and focuses on helping clients with everyday banking, investments, and credit through a differentiated client experience.

Qualifications

• Mutual Funds accreditation (e.g., Investment Funds in Canada, or the Canadian Securities Course)
• Ability to fulfill a robust Advice Experience on both personal and business needs
• Strong client contact routines to drive retention and referrals
• Flexibility, eagerness to learn, strong personal ethics
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Cantonese or Mandarin language skills

Responsibilities

• Provide pre and post-interaction enablement and client service for Financial Planners
• Identify client needs, refer, expand relationships, and track progress against sales plan
• Assist with client meeting preparations and support credit, investments, and banking solutions
• Lead with advice and educate clients through digital channels as a Digital Ambassador
• Adhere to policies and manage operational risk
