Job summary

CMA CGM Montreal is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to join a fast-paced logistics team focused on delivering exceptional support for export and import shipments. You will work to resolve inquiries, guide customers through documentation, and provide timely shipment status updates while collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires bilingual English and French communication, a university degree (transportation certificate a plus), and customer service

Qualifications

• University degree and transportation certificate are assets.
• Proven customer service experience, preferably 1 year in shipping/logistics.
• Bilingual English and French mandatory; additional languages a plus.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Able to multitask in a demanding environment with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Address customer inquiries, provide information, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Ensure all queries across channels are answered within SLA and quality standards.
• Assist customers with documentation, including bills of lading and shipping instructions.
• Provide proactive shipment status updates to customers.
• Coordinate with internal teams for resolution and follow-ups.
• Promote digital platforms and educate customers on digital tools.
• Identify opportunities for upselling basic value-added services (VAS).
• Contact customers and manage system modifications during delays or changes.
