Job summary

GardaWorld is hiring a Pre-Board Screening Officer at Sault Ste. Marie Airport (YAM). You will screen passengers, inspect belongings, and control access to secure areas to ensure safety.

Paid training is provided and uniform is supplied; health benefits are offered as part of the package. The role requires Canadian citizenship or permanent residency, a high school diploma or GED, a clean criminal record with eligibility for RAIC security clearance, and being 18+ with willingness to relocate to

• Must be located near Sault Ste. Marie, ON or willing to relocate before starting

Responsibilities

• Screen the travelling public and their belongings
• Ensure non-permitted items do not enter the secure area
• Control access to restricted areas
• Respond to alarms and report any events, illegal acts or violations
• Participate in emergency operations within the airport
