Job Description:

This role may be located in Waterloo, Ottawa, Northern Ontario, or New Brunswick.

What will you do?
  • Manage disability claims to resolution, including determining eligibility for short and long-term disability, salary continuance benefits, and assessing claims.
  • Implement interventions to support timely recovery and return to work.
  • Build strong relationships with our Clients: employers and their employees.
  • Lead Clients during the absence and return to work period.
  • Conduct telephone interviews to gather information for understanding the absence and planning support for return to work.
  • Identify and assess medical and non-medical factors influencing disability, functional capabilities, restrictions, and limitations.

  • All post-secondary degrees are welcomed.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, especially with complex claims and contracts.
  • Proactive and innovative.
  • Great communication skills with authentic care and empathy. Must be proficiently bilingual in English and French and able to communicate effectively in both languages.
  • Resilient and capable of handling stressful situations.
  • Tech-savvy — comfortable using multiple platforms and systems.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative team player.

The salary range is $54,000 to $91,000, depending on location and experience. Eligible employees participate in incentive plans based on performance.
